Tell you Story

Tell Your Story — Project Transformed
Tell Your Story

Your story stays locked until you turn the key.

Betting, or a financial mistake, took something from you — money, time, trust, maybe more. Writing it down is the first move. What happens to those words next is entirely yours to decide. No real name required. No exposure without your okay. Just a private page and people ready to help you break the cycle.

Our confidentiality promise

Three ways your privacy is protected before a single word goes public.

Project Transformed exists so people can talk honestly — about gambling, about money, about the mistakes nobody warned them about — including the guilt, the debt, the relapses. That kind of honesty is only possible if you trust what happens to it.

01

Anonymous by default

You choose a story name — or we assign one. We never publish your real name, phone number, employer, or location without your written permission.

02

Read before it’s shared

A small trained team reads every submission first. Nothing posts automatically, nothing goes to our page or feed without a human check and your final sign-off.

03

You hold the key

Ask us to edit, unpublish, or delete your story at any time — no explanation required. Support conversations stay separate from anything public.

Write it the way it happened

There’s no minimum. A paragraph counts as much as a page.

Write about what led you in, what it cost you, what’s changed, or what you’re still fighting. Skip the parts you’re not ready to say — you can always add more later.

🔒 Submissions are encrypted in transit and only reviewed by the Project Transformed support team — never posted without your consent.
🔒 Not published until you approve it
Other voices, shared with permission

What was once hidden, they chose to bring into the light.

Every line below was once a private submission like yours. These storytellers reviewed the final wording and agreed to share it — nothing here is guesswork.

FILE 014
I hid the app behind three folders so my wife wouldn’t find it. That was the first lie of many.
— “Still Standing”, Lagos
FILE 027
I lost a month’s transport fare on a match I didn’t even care about. I stopped that week.
— “The 3am Wager”, Benin City
FILE 041
Telling one person, privately, was harder than admitting it to myself. It was also the turning point.
— “Second Wind”, Port Harcourt

You don’t have to break the cycle alone.

Writing your story is one step. Project Transformed also runs private check-ins, a support community, and recovery and financial-wisdom resources built for what you’re dealing with — not a generic script.

While you decide what to share
  • 📵 Feeling the urge right now? Step away from the app or site for 10 minutes before you decide anything.
  • 🗣️ Talking helps more than willpower. A private message to our team costs you nothing and stays confidential.
  • 🤝 You’re not the only one. Every story in this space started the same way yours does — unsure, and honest anyway.
