Break the cycle. Build your future.
We support people breaking free from gambling addiction, and help young Nigerians build financial wisdom before recklessness costs them everything, through peer led programs, honest conversations, and books written from lived experience.
The path isn’t a straight line, but it can steady, and rise.
Ignatius Odongo
Founder, Project Transformed · Engineer, Mental Health Advocate“I didn’t need more discipline. I needed a different system, because the one I was using was never designed to help me win.”
Ignatius is a Nigerian engineer who spent two years fighting a gambling addiction before building the structured, day by day system that eventually broke it. The same system is now taught through Project Transformed’s programs and books. He founded the organization to hand that system, and the financial lessons that came after it, to the people who need them next.
What we offer
Support built by people who’ve been there.
Every program starts from the same belief: addiction is a health issue and financial recklessness is often a knowledge gap. Neither is a character flaw, and no one should have to face either alone.
Peer Recovery Support
Regular meetings led by people in recovery themselves, a space to be heard without explanation or judgment.
Counseling Referrals
Warm hand offs to licensed counselors and treatment programs, matched to what someone actually needs and can access.
Financial Recovery Guidance
Practical, non judgmental help with the debt, budgeting, and financial repair that often follows compulsive gambling.
Money Literacy Workshops
Sessions for final year students, NYSC corps members, and young professionals, built to arrive before the recklessness does.
Family & Loved Ones Support
Guidance for partners, parents, and friends navigating a loved one’s gambling or financial crisis. It affects the whole household.
Community & Belonging
Ongoing events and check ins that keep both recovery and financial discipline from becoming a lonely, one time decision.
New this year: Financial Wisdom for young Nigerians
Most financial recklessness isn’t stupidity. It’s a lesson nobody taught in time. Before You Earn Big is our companion guide for life, money, and relationships before financial and parental independence.
Inspirational Talks
Real stories, told to the rooms that need them most.
We speak in the places young Nigerians actually are, schools, NYSC camps, churches, mosques, and workplaces, with the same honesty that runs through our books. Not a lecture. A conversation about the four seconds before a bad decision, and the years it takes to build a good one.
Book a talkSchool & campus assemblies
Final year students and fresh graduates, facing independence for the first time.
NYSC orientation camps
Corps members, before the first allowance and the first temptation arrive together.
Workplace & community sessions
Lunch and learns and youth group talks on money, addiction, and starting over.
The Books
Written by someone who’s actually been there.
Both guides come from the same place: lived experience, not theory borrowed from a textbook.
